The Black River is one of the attractions near Annapolis and is a popular float river.  Jeff's Canoe Rentals offers canoes and floats for rent.  Lodging available in Annapolis includes Big Creek RV Park and Black River Traditions.  Bring your own camper or rent a camper at Big Creek RV Park or rent a cabin at Black River Traditions.  Black River Traditionals also offers trail rides and horse boarding.  Stop by for a meal at Bass Food Market - a lunch special everyday - or Sherrill's Mini-Mart for Pizza, Chester's Fried Chicken, and Hand Dipped Ice Cream!

Planning a celebration while you're here?  The Annapolis Community Center is available for rent. 

Hiking is available in and near Annapolis - take a relaxing stroll at Riggs Lane Walking Trail, a winding 1/3 mile loop or choose from one of multiple scenic hiking trails nearby.

Freedom Fest is an annual local festival that you won't want to miss.  Held the first full weekend in October; October 7 & 8 in 2016.  

Annapolis is also close to Sam A. Baker State ParkClearwater Lake, a U.S. Army Corp of Engineers campground and lake and many other beautiful natural resources.
